Browntown

Here's a brief look at Employee Housing at KPL, known as "Brown town."

"Welcome to magic land" door drawn on the wall.  Pretty much sums up this place.

View from the road looking in the general direction of brown town.  On the right is the rv park and store.  On the left is the lodge warehouse.  Up the hill..... that's where we live.

Leah 'enjoying' the 1/4 mile hill home.

This is "A" dorm.  Our dorm.  16 rooms, 8 bathrooms.  We share a bathroom with another couple.   We're on the top floor in the back.

Here is our fabulous luxury suite!

More space than we expected!  The other dorms are about half this size.
A sink in the room is nice.  The bathroom is just a toilet and shower.

The "lower" rec room.  Ping pong and fooseball tables set up.  T.V. and such.

This is the back of the "upper" rec room and laundry room.  This is also where everyone hangs out at night.  It's pretty much a party every night, usually until 3 or 4 in the morning.

The laundry room.  Almost always in use, all day, everyday.

Some employee cabins.  Pretty nice, but their bathroom is in the laundry room, where this picture was taken.

More employee cabins.  6 in all.

The girl's dorm, "c" dorm. 20 some rooms, 2 to a room, all share a bathroom.

"Upper" rec room.  There's a fridge and microwave, tv, books and games.

Boy's dorm, "B".  24 rooms, 2 to a room..... 1 bathroom.  Next to it is the upper rec, a cabin beyond and lower rec at the bottom.
