First Earthquake!
Casey and I just thought we should let everyone know we experienced our first earthquake this morning! It happened around 11:00am our time, 2:00pm MN time. It was a 5.2 magnitude earthquake, centered about 46 miles NW of us.
We were both in our dorm room at the time. I was on the bed and Casey was in the bathroom taking a leak when it hit. At first we both thought it was a truck going by but soon realized that was not the case. Trucks normally do not make the building and trees sway back and forth. I started screaming "Earthquake!" and running around while Casey managed to finish up in the bathroom and find a doorway to stand under. We then high fived.
